Unsurpassed Lake and mountain scenery, wildlife such as musk deer and black bear. Relax by Nepal’s largest lake.

Considered to be the cardle of the ancient Malla civilization. Dense temperate forests teeming with wildlife border remote alpine pastures. The serene, translucent waters of Rara Lake provide a sublime reflection of the surrounding mountains. During autumn the visitor is also rewarded with a profusion of wild alpine flowers. This conveniently short trek is frequently combined with trips Dolpo and Kailash.
